Construction of a new production hall in Liepaja, Latvia

Last week we marked a milestone in Brimer's history! Not only did we celebrate our 50th anniversary with cake, but we also sent a message to future generations by placing a time capsule in the foundation of our new production facility in Liepaja. The new production area will be approximately 2,000 m². This allows us to produce larger composite structures that can be craned straight onto cargo ships and set sail for the future.

For ENTEC Group and our brand BRIMER , the time capsule ceremony in Liepāja last week marked an important milestone for our company. We are a growth company, and the new facility in Liepāja provides us with the capacity to grow, as well as a unique opportunity to ship large composite structures directly to our customers from our own deep-water quay. As an international company with global operations, we are convinced that investing in increased capacity in a duty-free zone provides us with a cost-effective solution to position ourselves in a competitive landscape. We look forward to commissioning the new facility later this year," says CEO Håvard Haanes.

LSEZ AS Norplast Piemare is a company in the ENTEC Group and began operating in Liepaja several years ago, but until now it has functioned as a stevedoring company that provided for the export of large structures manufactured in Saldus. Saldus is a good hour inland by car from the coast.
