Design and development

At Brimer , we work closely with companies and innovation environments to develop new protective structures and products. We offer problem solving, engineering expertise and studies. This often includes FEA of composite materials, polymers and metals. It includes drawing, project/package management, testing and other parts of a design and development process.

Several of our employees have run EU-funded R&D programs, participated in guideline development (DNV Composite Components), implemented vacuum infusion for large structures and participated in impact R&D programs with SINTEF.

Our protective structures are also documented with full-scale impact tests, trawl model tests and mechanical tests. In addition, Brimer also holds several patents and designs.

We work in many different industries, but always with an eye to finding solutions that protect, preserve - and last.
